New from FL

Hello everyone. I’ve been lurking and researching this forum since this past summer when I bought a 97 Tacoma in rough shape that I’m trying to revive. I’ve been around cars my whole life (holding flashlight for dad ) but this truck is my first real project I’m tackling alone. Decided to create an account and get more specific help as I’m reaching a brick wall in my diagnosis (rough idle, black smoke) which I’ll probably post up soon. Anyways, thanks for having me. I’m looking forward to talking with you all!

Welcome to Tacoma World forum. Looks like a nice project vehicle, a great place to start. There's a lot of good help around here. If you've lurked for any length of time then you know not everyone's post will be helpful, but others for sure.
Many time you just got to accept the peanut gallery for what it's worth.

Thanks! Yeah I’ve read countless threads here and some helped, some didn’t. Either way it’s a great place to continue to learn about these trucks.
