I always wondered why he had trouble finding one. Curt, DrawTite, & HiddenHitch sell them. Not too expensive either. I think there is yet another lesser-quality company as well (china). Maybe his google-fu took a holiday (also why he's no longer present on TW.)??
I do LIKE how @six5crèéd version mounts higher. More approach clearance for the win!!

For the winch, I wired up some Anderson plugs. I made an extension cord to reach the rear when the winch is mounted there and the connection is out the front.

    Stupid right?
Illegal in Colo too, where I was when I mounted it. But I have GA plates and never got stopped for it. (back in GA now tho)

Gotta wonder if patrol officers with prior service would really ever hassle anyone for this? They all prolly want one too. :anonymous:
(not that all cops had prior service...)

Yeah, i agree. It's definitely in the florida statutes, but it's obviously a fake. A well seasoned officer probably wouldn't care. My boss (retired COL), has one, and he's never been stopped so who knows.

Dremmeled out the TRD Pro rigid fog housings to accomodate diodedynamics SS3 Max. Night and day difference. Highly recommended.

Yep. This is right after the dremmel. Cleaned it up with a file after. Gets the job done. Can’t really tell unless your face is 6 inches away. Lol

Thanks! I did the SS3 Max’s too (after the SS3 Pro’s) but swapped over to the open surrounds.

It must of been specifically with a bumper (hitch instead of winch mount)
