Stopped and looked at this briefly today, no sales people in sight so checked it online. I suppose if someone (desperately) wanted a Cement TRD OR with a 6 MT - and didn’t get one - this might be an option, but “C’mon man”, this is a crazy price. Tried to buy my truck, a twin except color here, but they told me 6 to 8 months, and no guarantees on getting one in color or equipment I wanted. They also told me that a manual trans was both unwise, and not recommended. Another dealer said they’d take a deposit for one but they wouldn’t take on a trade as there’s ‘no market’ for man. Transmission. Maybe there’s a mileage add we were unaware of, like $1 a mile? NBA surcharge?
Seriously though, with some hunting, dealers will sell at MSRP, near or even below. Seems kinda nuts to me.

As long as the idiots keep going in and paying over MSRP, and overpaying on used vehicles it won't end. Nobody, unless your ride needs huge money spent on it or it's dead, needs a new ride. People want to go in and pay more than it's worth again you are an idiot, in a few years when the market drops your stuck with a vehicle like the one above that's about $10,000 overpriced. In the end you lose and the dealer always wins, and again your an idiot.

It'll eventually go down but I don't think it'll happen anytime soon with all things considered like inflation etc. I sure hope things go down to more realistic prices soon though, some of these prices new and used are insane and wonder if people are actually paying these amounts.

There is no need for your name calling if people want to pay, then don't worry about it as long they are happy good for them.

Me calling people idiots for adding to the problem of overpaying because they just have to have it. Again idiots, sorry if it offends people but the truth hurts.

No so much, trucks production is being reduced. Shortage of semiconductors doesn't help. Not to mention that these Tacoma's might just be the last of the V6's !...

Harsh, but you're not wrong. Same thing goes with ammo hoarders...

When you overpay like that, you teach the gougers that people will pay their ridiculous prices and they don't need to prices back down when things settle down.

Kinda like skyblasting at ducks from a blind - you'll never hit the duck but you sure as hell teach them to steer clear of giant piles of grass that look like a duck blind lol.

I like how there is no market for manuals but even before the chip shortages and covid, manuals always sold pretty much when they hit the lots while you could have your pick of any configuration with an auto and actually test drive it. Obviously there were more autos built and thats why they were on the lot. But the point is when manuals arrived, they were gone quick. I think there is a bigger market for manuals over what the manufacturers say. They just dont build them cause it hurts their EPA goals that they have to meet. Forcing the extinction of the manual.

It was a poorly run store owned by the chain of dealerships I worked for 20 years. When they put it up for sale Toyota excercised their option and bought it. It’s actually owned by a husband wife team with DL having a fractional ownership. They are selling more vehicles now utilizing the DL name, and they even give you a pair of shoes with every new vehicle purchase. :)

No surprise we see less MT's sold with dealers actively discouraging their purchase.
