Alright before this turns into a grease fire, here’s my “situation”. As the title reads I have a 17 Taco with a unicorn manual it has 100,000 miles on the clock and the truck has been fantastic. I love it except for two things.

    1. The clutch pedal squeaks and squeals like a stick hog, damn thing has been “fixed” plenty of times and it keeps moaning.

    2. I’m 6’3”, multiple trips from Florida’s space coast to gulf coast and after a while my legs cramp up. Does the Auto fix this? Obviously this question pertains to tall guys.

So all that being said, you think I should deal with these issues since the truck is solid since day one or say trade for an Auto? Either way I’m staying in a Taco, yes there is the tundra but that’s a gas guzzler.

Have you installed the Desert Does It seat jackers? I had pain and cramping after driving about an hour because there was no thigh support. This summer I drove almost 700 miles in one day with no issues. The seat jackers were worth every penny for me.

Edit: Keep your unicorn! 17 is the best year.

    Keep it.

    1. Grease it again.

    2. Yeah, it helps as your seat position can be a bit further out with no need to clutch.

Will the TSS sensor annoy you? I mean it’s up to you and how much they give you for your current truck

High Temperature Disc Brake Grease on the pivot points will take care of that old barn door sound and it wont melt away like other greases.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Maybe put FRS seats into it80A75789-841B-4CE4-B9C3-04EB427D74EC.jpgand a pistol grip shifter for a little more knee room3161BB03-2E93-4421-8D7A-8543A9DCB136.jpg then drive that truck.. straight.. to freedom!

    Do not get an automatic.
I have an auto and trust me nothing beats the feeling of rowing your own gears.

I prefer the MT but I ended up with an AT. If I could do it again, I’d get the MT instead of settling.
