If i have a 2wd 3rd gen tacoma what gearing ratio would i need to run 35s on 6 inch only for street use for the best mpg?

How much is it for gears on a 2wd is it less than the 4wd?

    2wd is cheaper.

35” is a lot of tire and weight.
I don’t think I’d go 6”. Before you do this,
you might want reconsider the money you’ll have to spend.

Nice. Post pics when it’s all done.

Regarding the gears, I would say 5.29s.

Congratulations on being able to buy your own truck at age 15. But you're making bad choices on modifying it. By the time you finish this project expect to spend $3000ish to do everything and you won't be happy with the results. And you'll reduce the value of the truck when you try to sell it.

I did waaaay dumber shit when I was that age. Some lessons are best learned first hand. 5.29s are your answer. If you're gonna do a db lift at least get a good one, don't skimp out there.

I’m confused u want to put 35 and you are worried about gas mileage? Doing 35 even with gearing you will still get bad mileage .

You can test the effects of bigger tires by removing two plug wires to simulate power loss and throw a dollar bill out the window every 10 miles to simulate lost fuel economy. Drive like this for a week for full effect.
