    Hi,
I got in over my head this time. The project's done but my vampire drain is so bad that when I connect the battery terminal, I hear a click somewhere under the engine. Before I crawl underneath it (it's raining in upstate ny) in the mud, does anyone have an idea what this could be? I've tried the fuses but this just points to the positive small wires that disappear underneath.
Everything but the ABS works. The battery will be dead in a few hours.
    Thanks Again for the help,
    Vic

disconnect the starter to see if the clicking or issue goes away.

Great idea. If it stops raining I'll do just that. Thanks

Hey, good news- it appears you're on to the problem- no starter connect, no short.
You saved me from looking for obscure things. This being a salvage wreck, I took a lot of shortcuts. but it drives like new.
    Thanks again,
    Vic
