Hey gang - I searched the forum and my question has yet to be answered.

My taco was purchased in September of 2020 so I am hoping this unit is not part of roof-rack gate.

Does the OEM Toyota unit work? Has anyone had success with the private label racks from Amazon that range from $150-$180?

    TY in advance.

The knock offs tend to have leakage issues more than the OEM part and they are know to be missing hardware. Save yourself the headache and go OEM. I bought my rack here:

Well fellas, after taking 12 diff pics, converting them to .jpg and .jpeg (per the forum requirements) trying to upload via my phone, via my macbook pro, my girls MBA, I cannot get the damn pics to load.

Shark fin is about 1.5 cm from the end of the roof line or 0.60 inches. TY @

The early 2020 model shark fins were moved back ~1 inch.

I’ve been wondering about this… what are you supposed to do if you have an early model 2020 (I do) and you want to get the OEM roof rack?

There is 4runner antenna that can be used instead but you will lose AM reception.
