Newbie hailing from PNW!

Hey all,

Newbie here checking in from the PNW. I’m new to Trucks and Toyota, but grew up with 4x4s, wheeling, and helping my older brother modify and fix his Jeep Wrangler.

Earlier this year, I purchased a 1997 Tacoma V6 4WD from one of my retired friends from Church. It was a dream come true: He bought it off the lot new, kept meticulous fuel up and maintenance records, and treated it very well.

The first Gen Tacoma was always my dream truck due to its power to weight ratio, dimensions, and reliability. I am very excited to see what I can do with this truck. I plan to use it as a homestead/farm truck and make some tasteful modifications to enjoy a bit of overlanding.

I’ve seen a ton of awesome builds and posts from this site over the years as a lurker. I look forward to drawing inspiration from all the members here and contributing where I can as well!

The best way to learn that new to you truck is to do the work yourself if you can like tuneups and oil changes ect..
