Finished installing my Bravo Short Bed Top Rack.
This thing is beefy. Then side plates profile is tall. Installation instruction was okay. It’s a universal instruction for the Alpha and Bravo rack so I had to sort through the sections that only pertains to the Bravo SB.

Like a previous post, I too had concerns that I was sent the LB version. But checking with Micah(their engineer), I was reassured that it was the SB.
The instructions also recommended to install the feet on the 2nd crossbars(front and back). With my Leer rails, it was a few inches too short and I had to put the rear feet on the 3rd bars. Micah assured me that with a even load, it shouldn’t be a problem. I would have like the feet to be mounted on 2nd bars to evenly distribute the weight. We exchanged emails and there’s nothing I can do.

Another thing was that I had to use their feet mount spacers to raise up the rack. Like I mentioned the side plates are so tall that the rack is MM away from touching my cap without the spacers.

I think if I had to do it again, I would go with the Prinsu.

Haven't read the other postings, but my guess is they made it long as possible with the idea of people putting a roof top tent on there.

Sorry to hear that you are not happy with it, or at least not as happy as you wanted to be. I do like the aesthetics if it had perhaps a little tighter profile to the roof dimensions.

I really wanted to support a smaller business. I like the Prinsu design better. They offer cheaper mounting hardwares too.

Prinsu at least was a smaller business until they were bought by CBI. Economy of scale now allows them to offer more options at cheaper prices, sort of the unfortunate trade off. Everyone seems to try and offer their own spin on the design, as is the case here, so I would bet that a lot of the Prinsu stuff would be cross compatible.

They have changed the way it mounts since I bought mine. I have a Leer 100XQ, and ran into the same issue with needing to raise it up. I wanted it to be level with the cab rack, so I ended up raising 1”. Mine came with 1/2” spacers, and I ended up using 1 1/2”. I think the reason yours looks long on your topper is that your rear window (on the topper) is angled pretty sharply. Mine is about perfect in length for my Leer.

I was just about to order this and I have the same camper set up so thanks for the warnings. I think it still looks good regardless of the little over hang. But does your Leer 100 xr windoor windows leak at all, mine seem to leak when just washing it down with a hose and I'm trying to figure out how to stop it.

No, there was no leak at all. Where from California are you? I have that rack I need to get rid of.

I'm actually up in Reno, Nv now, I have to update my page. I do go down to Sacramento time to time. Do you know if uptop sales the "app" atachment for the bed rack because I was going to get the alpha ex for the light wiring hiding and handles. How much?

I think you can upgrade the Bravo to the Alpha, but I’m not too sure.
