Took it out to the range again last night. Shoots amazing. It did have one fail to feed about half way through a magazine, but i think that was the round's fault. My dad came along and I got to shoot his M&P 40 after shooting about 80 rounds through the kimber.

The two guns aren't even close to being similar to shoot. The M&P feels completely different in my hand, and the trigger pull is weird compared to the 1911. I couldn't hit squat with it until I pulled the target in to about 3 yards and figured out where I was. Then I was fine for the next clips... Summary- I love my 1911.

One thing that was weird though is I had a bad ricochet off of something and took it in the left thigh. Luckily the bullet had deformed and lost alot of inertia in the process, and I only ended up with a painful welt and bruise. Felt like being hit by a frozen paintball.

Glad you like it. Way back when I was shooting in Omaha there was a store called A Place To Shoot. I don't even remember where it is, but I spent a lot of time there. Still, I enjoyed the plinking sessions on the Elkhorn River more.
