Heading to the Mojave Preserve this weekend. Has anyone driven Macedonia Canyon Road lately? Wondering if there's room to get a lifted Taco under the train overpass at Kelso Cima Rd, or if there's too much sand built up.

We were there earlier this year, no problem. Even a Raptor made it under the bridge. Worse case, bring a shovel, or let some air out of the tires.

Thank you! We chose a different route to Mid Hills this time but I'd like to do Macedonia sometime. Is there anything of note along the trail in terms of difficulty?

Nothing notable, you're in a sandy wash. The road is in a Wilderness Corridor. Going up will be some work, coming down you will FLY. When you're in the hills near the top (Wild Horse Canyon Rd.), watch for old mine activity.
