Anyone tried using s 315/75/16 tire in a 16x7 rim? I know you need to use some spacers to clear the UCA. Also I know that the 315/75/16 is recommended for a 8"-10" wide wheel. If you have can you post some pics. Thank you!

    Looks like an overinflated balloon.

The bead is suffering and the tread is struggling to make contact.

    I wouldn't put 315's on 16x8's even.

If you want big boy tires, you need big boy rims.

I have 315s mounted on 16x8, it’s pushing to the limits, but works. The tires do wear fine and I’ve been running a set for 55K miles so far. But I would recommend 17s just so you can go up to 37s later, now I have to find another set just for 37s and nothing is available :annoyed:

7” is too narrow for this size

My advice, look at the tire manufacturer's website and see what their recommended wheel width is. Just bc it's doable doesn't mean it's advisable to do so.
