I got my truck in June and have done some basic mods like blacking out the exterior emblems, adding predator side steps, and removing the front air dam. Now, I'm really trying to plan what steps to do at the same time to save tearing things apart more than once.

Right now, I have the Meso-customs chrome delete kits and was wondering if anything else should be considered for the interior mods at the same time. For example, I'm doing the tweeters and the driver's side grab handle to avoid duplicate work. Any experiences on mods where you did something and thought, "should have done that while I was doing this?" Exterior, interior, suspension, wheels, tires etc etc??

This is an insanely open ended question... It completely depends on what mods YOU want to do.

For example, we could tell you to install the ECGS bushing while you're installing your suspension. However, if you have no intent on installing a suspension, then that's a worthless suggestion... List your intended mods and we can tell you which ones to bulk together.

Only thoughtful mod is keeping toilet paper on hand. Only one that counts.

    Enough for now
I started out with minor makes life easier mods for probably the first two years, enjoyed the newness of the truck stock.

This year hit and once I got new tires it turned into a lift, then wheels and now it’s outta control. I’ve got parts now I thought I wanted and now live in a box cause it didn’t work for me.

I’ve learned a ton throughout the process. Someone said it earlier, enjoy the truck new and decide what you want to use it for abs go from there!

Man I do whatever I want if I was you. I did and I'm thrilled. I even bolted a fridge slide to the back of my right rear seat and have an ice CO fridge. Did a solar panel on the hood from cascadia. I'm even gonna do a snorkel because I mostly just like how they look. I don't have to justify crap to anyone and neither do you

Is changing a radio knob or an air vent trim considered a mod?

You might think through where you want to go with your truck and ask about some of the things that make it perform better to get some perspective regarding value or effects.
As far as cosmetics, do what you like the look of. Ask, and you’ll get more opinions than you want. If you like it, that’s all that matters. The only person you need to please is yourself... and maybe a wife if you are married.

Ah, the European man bag. I don’t think there is a TRD one, but I’m pretty sure Ford sells them, along with man furs and puffy pirate shirts. You know, for the Ranger guys.

Do bed lights and bed stiffeners at the same time since you take out the taillights. The same could be said for the diff breather if you decide to route the tube behind there.

If you put on an an aftermarket/Pro skid plate, I'd do it after you apply rust protection (Cosmoline Rp-342 is the way to go). So remove your current skid, apply whatever anti rust stuff you want to the frame, then put on your new skid plate.
