Hi and thanks for the welcome . I just got this 2007 Tacoma access cab 4x4 with 92k original miles . I was surprised to find that most of the bed is composit ...found that out when I was looking for places to mount antennas . It will take some extra work but think I have it figured out after reading another post on this site . Hope to be here for a long time , I put 325k miles on my old gen 1 and regret ever selling it . Hope this one lasts as long .

Congratulations! Wow your 1GEN paid its dues. I had a pre-tacoma toyota pickup 3.sl0w that I put close to 350k before the body imploded here in Vermont. Was an awesome truck.
My 2GEN has been a good one too. 13 TRD OR I bought new now 113k. Not an issue other than the frame coating due to the Rust campaign now extended the warranty until 2025

Welcome, and don't worry one bit about the composite bed. Have owned multiple tacos including an '07 and have never had a problem with the composite bed. ... It's light and it'll never ever rust!
