Was really unsure if I would like the CF mirror covers instead of the white ones and it really grew on me, glad I made the change. Plus the MESO V5s are freaking awesome over the OEM ones, really digging the DRL function and the sequential, 2 of the nicer mods I have done to the Taco.

I got an extra set of unpainted black mirror covers on eBay because I wasn’t sure how I’d like them. I still need to put mine on, at the same time I do the V5’s.

Well worth getting the plug from @daveeasa for the DRL functionality. Took me a bit to find time to actually devote getting this done and taking my time/doing it right the first time for a clean install. All wires tucked and ran properly, happy with the results.

Took the girl in for the rear brake light seal mod. Didn't even recieve the recall letter yet and they're already calling me. I mention that to the service writer and he told me its because we are in the NW and entering the wet season so they're not waiting. As soon as Toyota notified dealerships they started making calls.

Not much yet. Previous owner put some oversized tires and rims
I used windshield urethane to seal mine up. Also did the cab vents as they were also leaking. Hopefully the light doesn’t burn out during my ownership! It will be a real bitch to remove now!

Fixed my mess up from the deer skinning rack hitting it Monday. $47 for a piece of smoke polycarbonate instead of $419 for the windoor from LEER.

Take a look at the Tacoma 2’nd Generation OEM running boards. Toyota says they won’t fit a 3’rd Generation but they do. Very nice and much less expensive than the 3’rd generation OEM.E3579FCB-D552-4C4D-BE9B-3B9F6ED256B6.jpg

2nd gen boards on a 3rd gen are the bomb. Not sure about figment on a ‘22 but I bet that they’d fit. BD1E1B61-A964-40C5-8094-72C102A07DC8.jpg

Difference in material. I like the 3rd gen aluminum boards with the rough texture too

The 3’rd gen running boards are nicer. And, a lot more expensive.

No pictures for proof, but I installed the bed lights, the short bed rail that goes below the back window and the auto tailgate lock kit this week.

My truck came with the Predator bars already on it. I’ve already bent the drivers step. Tapped the front and rear of the step down part on rocks and it bent the step. And I truly do mean rapped. The scratches in the step are no longer than a half inch and I was going very very slow on a mostly dirt trail. Was learning the trucks capabilities and limitations when it happened. I have always known I will do rock sliders, but I was hoping these would last a little longer than 1,500 miles. Oh well.
