One thing you can do if you have shares in groups of 100 is sell a call at 10% above the trading price and buy a put at 10% below...It gives you an exit with a 10% gain if it rises (you were already happy with selling) and if it crashes you have the put so you can offload your shares or sell the put for a profit and use the cash to add shares on the dip..

IF you had ZERO Fear of losing your shares to an in the money call you can kill it with this on $GME spikes and dips...

BUT, as someone who sold $13 $AMC calls and watched it go to $60...
It hurts a lot...

I am not fortunate enough yet to have any positions in a quantity of 100 on anything good
I was establishing my position from scratch this year and I guess I’m still just a hair cautious based on the info I mentioned earlier

but I did essentially go from 7900$ invested this year and turn it into 15,000$

so if I sit off the board til Monday and hop back in the pool hopefully it won’t make a splash either way

 

I'm going more of the dragons hoard approach. I print them out and hide them under my mattress

 

I was doing this for almost a year with $DIS...I had 126 shares...and was selling covered and buying puts because it was so stable...
and then Feb of 2020 I went on a cruise during options expiration week and didn't want to lose my shares on a spike or dip so I decided to take a cycle off...
and then COVID crash hits...MFSOB...The very reason I was using the strategy hits and I miss out on thousands...
