I have a 2010 corolla that the wipers will not work on low. They work fine on high other than stopping where ever when the arm is cut off. I ordered a variable speed arm but same problem.
My question would be is there a relay? I looked in the box under the hood. Or could the motor have problems? Any help would be appreciated!

The primary relay is inside the wiper stalk control. There's 2 fuses but if either blew, you'd have zero wiper operation, so they are good.

There is a separate circuit inside the motor that can fail. Basically its a resistor that slows down the speed of the wiper.

So either a wiring issue, unlikely.

    Or a wiper motor.

Thank you. The switch arm I ordered was used, but surely it wouldn't be bad as well. I will look into the motor. When low speed and intermit. went out, they started dragging before finally going out.
