Hey yall. I have a 2007 prerunner. I noticed that when I accelerate, it take my transmission a minute to shift. It will accelerate and then shift into gear, kinda like it has to think for a second first. Is this normal?

You might consider doing a fluid change.

If the problem persists.....then take it to a trans shop.

No, the shift should not hang or hesitate. Should be smooth and firm. Kinda like your first GF.
