Turkey meatloaf. Tad dry. :ballchain: Tasty nonetheless.

They were already sliced and packaged at the butcher shop.. probably 1/4 inch thick or less.

I've never tried Traeger pellets. They are not available locally.

Update (sorry I didn't snap any pictures of the ribs!):

I smoked the ribs for 3 hours at 250 on competition blend pellets, then wrapped in peach paper (I prefer this over foil) for 1.75 hours. I then put the ribs into ziploc bags still wrapped in the paper and into the fridge for 2 days, then hauled them out to SD in a cooler. Threw them in the oven at 250* for 1hr after coating with BBQ Sauce, and they were devoured instantly with mashed potatoes w/ gravy and corn. The Patriarch of our hunting camp insisted that I do the same thing next year, but with way more ribs. Full disclosure, they weren't as good as "fresh off the smoker", but for the ease of prep and travelling so well, it's hard to complain with the results (or the compliments). Good bark, sticky sauce, tender meat!

I also managed to bring down 6 pheasants, and my golden retriever caught one for himself in the middle of a corn field push. It was a great trip/hunt, beautiful weather. I'm already looking forward to next year!

First time seeing an arm roast cut. I like the marbling and grain direction. Seasoned with loads of garlic and regular amount of Kosher salt/pepper.C1EB0CED-3004-4C4A-864C-39ACB19962D2.jpg9A9D525C-F693-43CA-9037-197438EF6AF3.jpg

First time trying a Lamb leg in the traeger. Injected with extra garlic-y aioli and rubbed with with salt, pepper. About to pull it and let sit.

Love Shishito peppers. Blistered in a cast iron with olive oil, sea salt, and honey...

    Happy Veterans Day

    Thanks to those who served!

    Including @Cold Iron and others.

Asked my wife to bring something home to bbq and she brought home a $10.99/lb tritip

    Oh well. Turned out A-OK.

Smoked for an hour then seared (tried… coals didn’t want to get hot)
