I’m thinking about it also. What would the best round LED be? I’m jus cautious on doing it with the cheap Ebay ones.

I saw this on another thread. Maybe Ariyan can fill us in one the details of his build? He did a great job by the looks of it. I like to round halo he added also.

I’ve done a lot of searching and haven’t really found a “high quality” light that is that particular style. I just see that some are more expensive than others. At this point, I’ll just use whatever Ariyan used because I have a spare set of OEM housings and DGAF. I like the white bezel. I think I will do something similar. Too bad the tails can’t match.

I have a question on getting the headlights to... work all the way. The jeep ones i have - have a halo blinker switchback in the housing and i cant for the life of me figure out how to get it to work all with the plugs it came with. As well as the DRL fuse tap the kit comes with.. I dont exactly know where to plug it into. I tried the EFI 2 spot but no luck.

does yours jeep lights use the blinkers? or did you leave the factory blinkers and just use those?

Mine had the exact same plug as our normal headlight bulbs and there was a separate wire for the drl. As for my turn signal its still the stock bulb in the stock location. If you could post some pics I might be able to help figure it out.

Isn't the DRL fuse in the cab?

Heres my setup. The mini pods are just going to be floods. Not the blinker.
The outer small light is my current drl. But I wanted that to flash as blinker if I cant get the halo in the jeep lights to work.
The halo in the jeep light is considered the blinker. It's a switchback.

Also I probably have wrong information on where to plug everything because there were no instructions and I'm just like... sure this sounds right.

From what i understand the red wire is drl and theplug is the high low for the main headlights. Are you sure there's a yellow turn signal in there?

Possibly not. I keep looking at the Amazon listing and it says no. So that's my bad. But I still cant get the drls to come on.

Am I the only one who thinks this is a creative idea, but ultimately a horrible mod?

It's cool looking but it's a poor functioning light. Worse than a stock halogen bulb.

Mine throws pretty good and was definitely better than my stock halogens. Now it's not like most retrofits but works for what I want.

My low beams are just as bright as my Mini H1 7.0 from TRS and my high beams absolutely blow them away. Anyone that flashes me quickly regrets it. The cut off is sharper and has more color on TRS mini H1 though. For me personally in every way but the cutoff, doing the Jeep retro is defiantly an upgrade.

I have this sub'd to watch for further updates.
Couldn't you just keep the drl's on all the time, like I do now, and have the jeep lights function? Not understanding the need for the module purchase. Eager to try this mod. Thanx in advance.

That's what I have. If I wanted the drl to shut off when my main lights are on I'd just use a relay that allows closed state and open state wiring
