I wonder if their armor is a fairly new offering and not many people have used it yet...

I spoke with them about sliders and they only have them for the double cab short bed. Nothing for long bed

Did you get any more info on their sliders? I sent them an email but haven't heard back yet. Material used, etc.

The sliders are brand new as of September… I currently have the skids and they have already saved my bacon. Ask @C41n

I was going to get their skids but it doesnt cover the transfer case rear. Im going to crawl under there and see how likely that is to getting hit

pretty sure the skids did what they were intended for… big old log dented one of them as I got hung up on it.

I actually returned the skids, they were very well built and the quality was great, but I was not pleased with the coverage. Ironman 4x4 worked with me and was very gracious about the return.

Thats kind what I was afraid of. Seemed like the coverage was decent but I wanted it to cover a bit more back by the transfercase

    I've been remiss!

The skid plates are surprisingly stout. I cannot imagine anyone making anything more durable you'd want to put on your truck. It turns out I had a transfer case 'lift' which I had to remove to fit them (or would had to have spaced the rest of the skidplate assembly similarly). The parts were very well finished and came with all hardware required. I liked the protection it offers for the exhaust pipe kink that seems to be a weak point in the exhaust design which allows it to get pinched.

I had a problem with attaching my front skidplate to the middle plate. In my case the first plate had nutplates welded on, which is super nice, however mine were slightly off and didn't allow the bolts to feed in at the correct angle. I made a suggestion they enlarge the holes or create a jig to ensure that doesn't happen again and they took that advice under consideration. They also refunded me $50 for my trouble. I just ran my own bolts through after I'd reamed the holes. Aside from that, installation was easy and quick. The videos are pretty good.

I think I got a one-off for the single issue I had, but I still absolutely recommend these guys, and it isn't because they comp'd me $50; I had been recommending them even before I was refunded. They were higher quality than I expected by a very wide margin.

    9/10 would recommend

I had the same bolt issue but it’s ok because the skids saved my bacon already

Just ordered these skids. Got them for $499. Anyone have anything new to comment on them? I don’t plan to wheel my truck hard and figured these seem to be a good compromise between weight, coverage and price point. Later if this truck turns from mainly DD to off-road, I’d fix the low hanging cross over pipe and put on larger skids. Thoughts?
