Just managed to install the cover yesterday after work fighting against daylight. Did manage to snap a bolt though from rushing through the install a bit to get it done ASAP. Will have to probably order a new set from Agri-cover just for peace of mind. Shoutout to Luke at truck alterations for hooking it up!

The support from LoMax is fantastic. I moved my trifold from my 2019 to my 2021 and contacted them for a new rubber seal that goes under the side rails as it did not peal off cleanly from my 2019. I explained my situation and they sent me a new seal no charge. I had it in a couple days.

Installed this today and when I put the cover on and rolled it out, I noticed the last seal was tweaked. I’ve reached out to the vendor to see what can be done. I didn’t check the cover carefully/open it up before I installed it. In hindsight I absolutely should have. I would advise everyone check the seals and seams before they install this. Packaging was perfect so didn’t expect a problem. 08B59C7E-9409-4EE1-8122-15B5C236CFAF.jpg2949A9DA-6B59-4555-8F91-443B277AF1CC.jpg

Hey recently got myself a Tacoma and looking for a hard tri fold tonneau. These Lomax ones seem great but I'm curious how the weatherproofing has held up for those who've had them a while?

Mine's been on for 2 1/2 years and still looks and works like new!
The weather here is probably much different than the PNW but I'd still recommend this cover.

I actually went diamondback due to the Lomax price increases....guess it doesn't make much sense but it's what I did. Should be installed shortly

To those with the lomax cover, have you ever tied down any items on top of the cover?

I haven’t, it can support up to 300lbs so depending on what you want to do it may be good for it. Only thing is lack of places to secure whatever is on top..

I really would advise against it. Is pretty thin, im less than 300lbs and i wouldn't even consider standing on top of it.

Key point is he 300 pounds has to be evenly distributed and a person standing on a cover is far from evenly distributed weight... sheets of plywood stacked on top would be an example of evenly distributed weight...

Either way I would use a rack system if I wanted to carry items over the top of the cover

Had the dealer install mine. Have to take it back in on the 5th because it's pretty leaky. This is what happens when I don't do things myself... Hopefully they can resolve it but I already have a tailgate sealer on the way and a Bed Rug cover that also extends to the tailgate. I know it leaks from the two spots on the front of the bed, but the weather has been hard to judge what else is leaking. I check it after a car wash, or rinse, and there are definitely spots. But it's freezing and I'd like to see how much it leaks normally without spraying straight towards it. I hate having to bring stuff back in to get checked on because it wasn't done right the first time or has an issue, so hoping to seal it up and pinpoint the weak spots this weekend so I can just tell the dealer not to worry about it. I really don't want them touching more than they have to. But, I like the tonneau cover. I almost went with a retractable one instead. I just wanted the most flush looking cover and this was what I saw. Family has one on their Ram 2500 and it doesn't leak at all. Really solid cover. Hopefully mine will play out that way too. They also had to have their looked at a second time.

Could potentially be leaking due to install in Montana during the winter. Might not be sealing properly due to the extreme cold?

My Lomax has never leaked at the seals that it came with, I have had small drip leaks in heavy rain at the two corners front of the bed where the gaps are, that’s a Tacoma gap issue. some have sealed these joints but I don’t really want my bed totally airtight for the hot summers here prefer a little vent path and those small drip leaks are not an issue if they do occur, runs right down to the drain holes anyway. Most rains and even car wash the bed is bone dry.
Others have had leaks at the seams of the tailgate but i’ve not noticed that, those can be sealed as well.

Has anyone installed the adarac bed rails that are made to go with the Lomax? Heres a link: https://www.agricover.com/adarac/utility-rails/

I wanted to use these so I can then put bed rails above the lomax. It wont be able to be flipped, but it would be nice for security below a RTT. Any pictures appreciated.
