Why can’t us ‘Mericans’ get these trucks?

I'm guessing a) fiberglass replica or b) fairly decent photoshop. Otherwise, please forward me the kind of tailgate that wouldn't instantly collapse under that much cast iron. :spy:

Why is that these guys find a way to keep these trucks going in the middle of bfe (sometimes literally) yet the average American can’t change their own battery? Shit some of us can’t even put gas in our cars properly! Lmao

Haj is resourceful. It never ceased to amaze me how reliable the hiluxs were in Iraq and Afghanistan under austere conditions.

Part of me still regrets never signing up and going over there when I had the chance, but after hearing my buddies sit around and rehash the shit they went through I’m glad I never did. I respect the hell out of you guys that were over there, but fuck that.

P.S. why didn’t you bring back a hilux or one of those badass Land Cruiser trucks?! Lmao

I was in the infantry and its not for everyone. Living the way we did at times in filth is why I can’t stand camping lol. I would have loved to bring a hilux back. A stock hilux would go up them mountains with no issues and it was always amazing to see.

A stock taco mobs some of the gnarliest roads in Baja no problem. May take the guy hours instead of minutes like the built trucks, but guy has charted every road in Baja in a stock 1st gen. It’s amazing what a truck can do with the right driver
