Passenger seat airbag (2021)

My ‘02 had a switch to deactivate the passenger airbag. I perused the manual and didn’t see a way to do this for my ‘21 DC. Is it possible? My dog is just the right weight to have the seat sensor go on and off so the beeping is always going on. I could just buckle the seatbelt behind him, but can I deactivate the airbag?

I'm sure some way, some how, it's possible but there is no switch. Double cabs don't have it. I don't think double cabs of any brand have one by regulation.

 

You can turn it off by getting Carista, the ODB2 dongle. There are some additional settings you can adjust from the app as well such as the lane switch blinker count.

**Edit** I just checked and I am unsure about the airbag. The seatbelt alarm for sure can be turned off.
