I went to a local car show today and think I saw a real .... "Factory Ford Thunderbolt" .... very dull looking aluminium bumpers, radio delete, even a passenger side windshield wiper delete .... front fenders looked "light" too ...maybe fiberglass or aluminium (note extra fender bolts under the hood) ... fiberglass induction hood, rear window brackets ..... and vintage slicks.

I am a not a great Thunderbolt fan ... but these factory Thunderbolts are about as rare as Hen's Teeth.
This one looked brand new, original and perfect.
This one car was the show stopper for me.

 

This was a local and different kind of a show with only 150-200 cars there. Many car shows this weekend and Atlanta (30 miles away) had the big one. Two local cars shows yesterday and today.

Note the cool homemade dragster above with a flathead .... a true vintage hotrod mini dragster.

The top Chevy Wagon had a super high quality paint job on it and changes colors.

This local car show was very patriotic with all the proper pre-show songs and prayer to start the show.

This local show was kind of a microcosm of Americana with a nice sunny and cool Georgia day with a pre Veteran's Day salute.

I remember when you could buy these for $20,000 all day long (electrical problems and all) .. lol

This is about the nicest De Tomaso Pantera that I have seen.

I didn't take many pics today .. was only there maybe 30 minutes.

I love my turck but thought I would share some of the other cars in the PFL Customs fleet, I have to many cars so heres a couple of my favorites...

2018 SRT Charger, slammed on a set of demon wheels 305s in the rear, custom tuned, custom trunk refrigerated keg and beer tap....yes the car has a functional beer tap and full cold keg

1969 mustang notch back, 408 stroker, power disc brake conversion, radial TA tires and of course the original paint, just a fun car to do burnouts in and take to the track.
