Have a few questions about supercharging my T100.

    T100 in process of installing Magnuson Supercharger, headers, CAI, catback etc.
    So the Magnuson S/C will be here Thursday. I just swapped out my ECU from a 1997 T100 will all the exact same features as my 96 and it fired right up and runs great. So Thursday I'll begin the Supercharger install I also had to buy a complete new throttle body because the one on my 96 is the 4 pin wire on the TPS and I guess it needs to be the 97 and newer 3 wire sensor. I'm gonna install a 170 degree thermostat, 2 step colder Denso iridium tt plugs I've already have a 2.5" cat back exhaust, new high flow cat, headers and a K&N FIPK CAI. Maybe add a URD MAF fuel & timing calibrator which I would think would help a ton with all the extra air being forced in maybe tune in that mass air flow sensor to work properly in turn add some more fuel as well as retard the timing were needed? So anyways is there anything you guys can think of that I might need for this Supercharger to work correctly as my daily driver? Sorry this is so long any feedback would awesome! Hoping someone on this site has done what I'm attempting to do? Thanks in advance!

    Whoops.... I totally forgot to ask my main question sorry. So after I install the new 97 and newer throttle body with the 3 pin TPS but my wire connector coming from my 96 what am I gonna do then? Any ideas, is there an adapter out there somewhere? From what I can see installing the new 97 3 pin TB is pointless when my freaking truck has a 4 wire connector. Any ideas?

    You said it started and runs great, does it really need the different tps? If so, maybe get a 97 engine harness.

    I was kinda in a similar boat, but different. My 96 Taco needed the 97 ecu to be boosted. I found a matching donor ecu and it runs great.
    Where it got weird was I started developing high idle after 2 years. Turns out the throttle body wore out and had a gap around the butterfly.

    Finding a Taco throttle body with the 4 pin is fairly difficult. What was frustrating is I have a few 3 pin TBs laying around. The mount and the shaft design are different between 3 and 4 pin. However I think a full disassemble/swap could be done to use the 4 pin shaft in the good 3 pin body.

    I actually took the TB off last night and am sending it to MaxBore. They bore it out and make a new butterfly so it seals properly. They also reset all the stops and calibrate the sensors. Return shipping is even included. All this for the same price as a old junk yard TB that could also be in bad shape.

    Now back to your question. I dont know how to make the 3 pin work with a 4 pin. The schematic is different and I'm not going to risk a faulty circuit and fry the ecu.

    Actually, couldn't you just extend the 3 pin wires to the Ecu with the proper pin out? You could use the old 4 wires and just discard 1.

    Looks like a Gen2.5 TRD Sport, but really an '08 TRD OffRoad
    TRD Supercharged / OTT Tuned
    If the T100 blower install requires you to get the ECU flashed at the dealership, then do NOT buy the urd maf calibrator.

    I would check if HP Tuner supports the mid 90s T100 platform. If it does, you are golden on the software-side.

    (Actually, i would not touch the URD Maf Cal until every other option has been tried .)

    t100 ecu's are as locked as the 1st gen tacoma ecu's. I had a friend supercharge his, was a 98. So idk about the tps. But we had a few hiccups getting the fic6 working properly. Huge thanks to Jon64l as he helped me figure that one out and a couple on my truck.

    I have a '98 I just pulled a S/C off of, already kind of want to put it back on. Just had to make sure it ran good 1st on it's own IMO, it does thankfully. So, in essence, you're saying it's pretty tough to tune them correctly right?

    Easy route is 7th injector kit. Maybe someone in classifieds will separate. Make sure you do a fuel pump at same time.

    So it's been awhile since I posted last. I ended up installing the gen2 MP62 Magnuson Supercharger along with an AEM 340LPH pump SnowPerformance water methanol Stage 2 progressive kit. 2" Pulley, Unichip Piggyback. 298hp at the crank at 4,800ft altitude 10psi boost. I swapped the ECU for one out of a '97 T100 and installed a new throttle body for a '97. Everything works perfectly for about 2 years now!

    I'm seriously considering selling my gen2 MP62 Supercharger and getting the new tvs1320.
