Entune Clock/Time Did Not Update

2021 TRD Sport - Time didn't fall back. I had a 25 minute drive to my destination and still didn't update. GPS time setting was ON.

Anyone else experience this?

 

Mine has done that a few times, came back, and reading here, it’s normal.

 

mine always says error when i first start up the truck.

 

Same thing with mine. I had to go in there and tick the "daylight savings time" button and it corrected the time.

That's what i did to correct it as well. So that means we have to repeat that procedure come Spring?

I haven’t driven my Taco since the most recent time change, but in the past I’ve not had an issue with it.

I did find it comical that last night I went for a ride on my newest motorcycle (‘20 KTM Duke) and found that the clock on that bike had updated it’s self and jumped forward one hour

 

Have you cycled the ignition, or press the power/volume button for 5 seconds to reboot the headunit. Sometimes it just hangs up. Either that, this is the first sign that the world is ending.... we all can say we saw it here first... on TW!

 

Never had an issue on mine. Always updates on it's own.

 

Nope. Except fpr this morning drive, I haven't used the truck since parking it last Friday. Also, it seems like I am not the only one having this issue.

Note this is for the latest headunit.

 

My 2020 had no issues, nor has it had issues with the time.

 

watching because mine did not update either. The setting to adjust to daylight saving time is on too.

 

Mine did not adjust as well and today I was not able to log in to the App either. Not sure if their is any connection.

 

Mine adjusted on it's own no problem, but my app has been acting weird since the last update. I no longer get alerts even though they are all on, and when I send a command it doesn't record an acknowledgement back from the truck. However, when I close down and re-start the app whatever command I sent was done and the status is updated. I called Toyota who suggested I upgrade my iOS to 15.1, which didn't fix the problem. They opened a ticket to look at it from their end.

 

Mine was set when I got in it this Morning. I thought for sure I would have to reset it like my other Tacos. Could it have something to do with remote starting it as it was a bit chilly .

 

My Entune experience has been so pitiful I am embarrassed I own a Toyota sound system and wish I had nothing at all so I could apply the wasted money to Crutchfield instead.

 

And to think, I had to hold the hour button on my dash clock on my 2nd gen for like, 10 whole seconds. Phew that was rough.

 

My wife's Hyundai, I had to uncheck a box. The radio has the same bells and whistles if not more my SR5 doesn't have a CD player. The entune system gives me a update on miles on the truck like I can't read the odometer. I haven't enabled it's rat out mode for insurance. I've seen people post pics of bad driving habits, I haven't checked haven't been able to drive for a while and at least a week more.
