Remote camera with 360 cameras

Was trying to connect a remote camera my backup camera however I have the 360 camera system (canbus cameras).

Initial shots just feeding a video feed yielded no results, black warbly screen and an error icon. Powering the factory camera and connecting the canbus lines (but using alternate video feed) yielded the same results.

anybody have any success feeding in an alternate video feed for the 360 camera system?
