I just picked up one of the VL60 with bag models at 20% off. Seems like the real deal, but time will tell.[IMG]
Hooked it up in the garage and its now running at zero on one side and two on the other. Arrived in a U-Haul truck, lol, with no damage. Its big for sure so I might have to build a platform for it for the back seat. As extra bonus, ICECO sent me two covers, one seperately, and one stuffed inside the fridge!

Just now seeing this thread on the Iceco very curious on the Vl35 looking to purchase it fairly soon just need to be sure on my current power source. I currently have a goal zero yeti 200x and was wondering does anyone know how much on the amp draw is the Iceco? Would I need to keep a charge on the portable power with solar panels or would it be fine to run without constant power.

does the 200x allow pass through charging?

I don't know that the amps matter as much as the watts. I mean, I'm sure they matter, but I think the Watts is what people look at when determining if it will work. Mine pulls approximately 55W when the compressor is running. I believe the VL and JP have the same Danfoss compressor.

I just heard that the Black Friday / Cyber Monday code is still active.

For anyone who wants to test...

    Use code: BFCM at checkout

You could call and ask if they could do the TR for the 25% off. Just don't mention the fact that the BFCM is still active so you don't ruin it for others.

Repeat these words to them "I saw you were doing 25% off on one of the truck forums online for a group buy last year. Any chance you could give me that deal on a TR series?"

BFCM still does 12% off and there's another thread here for more discounts and a potential group buy.

I thought I would share some pics of how much stuff you can fit in one of these. In this case, a VL60 dual.
Some people will say something like "I got 94 cans of Miller Lite in my cooler!". Or "68 cans of hominy!". Doesn't help much for folks thinking of buying and are wondering if they can go out for a long trip.
I have a two week trip to Oregon, Utah, Idaho and wherever else I end up in a couple weeks, so I started buying groceries and filling up the fridge today. When my wife asked me why I was packing for a trip three weeks away, I just shook my head. Some women just don't understand these things. Anyway here are some capacity photos:
    [IMG] [IMG]
There is still more room at the top for some hot dogs and lunchmeat.
    [IMG] [IMG]
All in all in addition to my meager cold food supply(I'll have dry food and canned stuff in a small action packer as well) I was able to fit 3 standard 6 packs of beer, 2 6 packs of midget sodas, and 24 bottles of water in the fridge. I'll have to re-stock somewhere along the way, but who cares? So nice to not spend two bills on ice for a trip like this. I'll probably take a little lunch box cooler for the front seat as well for the long stretches of freeway. Hope this helps folks who might be thinking about whether to buy a fridge of any brand!!

I'll play. Here's my JP40 with 2 holiday 5 packs and some apple sauce packs. There's also a 20oz Mountain Dew that is laying flat in the area that you can't see. I always forget it is there due to where it resides.

You can fit way more than this in there (obviously). I don't think I've ever had it filled to capacity, but I hope to change that in the spring.
