    My truck was broken into and this piece was left on the seat. Can anyone tell me where it is from? It slides to adjust for length and has a clip on one end.

    I replaced my rear view mirror with a homelink version and remember screwing around with that part.

    Ahh. OK; the thing is for me too, that I also put one of those "dongles" on the back of my mirror, that plugs into the USB plug and then provides a way to power another appliance such as a front-view camera, which is what I bought it for. And with all that, I still never noticed that. Thanks too, for the detailed diagram. There ARE some cool people on here!
