    Nope.....

There will be several months of "playing" in snow. Our first round of "play" is predicted for this weekend.

This is when everybody relearns how to drive on snow, snow pack, ice, slush, slop. No black ice yet, the roads haven't frozen.

    Crinkled fenders will be common.

I had moved to Utah a few years ago. I had my WRX, with snow tires on it, and my experience was from driving on logging roads in Oregon on the snow.

I made the mistake of assuming that everyone in Utah would be capable of driving in the snow... And was shockingly disappointed. NOBODY had a clue how to drive in the snow there. Not even the police... I was blasting down the freeway at 70MPH, trying to beat a huge snow storm and get home, and while it was snowing, it wasn't sticking. I mean at all. But everyone, and I mean everyone, was going 20MPH in the right lane... A sheriff tried pulling out behind me to pull me over, but just fishtailed, and gave up. A second SUV did actually manage to get behind me, but when I hit the brakes, he couldn't slow down, and if I hadn't floored it, he would have seriously rear ended me (he was going 90+, and so he was really rapidly gaining on me at 60, when he hit his brakes, he just started sliding). After he realized he came within inches of causing a serious, serious wreck, he also gave up.

I got into town and there was close to 2' of snow, but I had by then slowed down to 20mph, and the third sheriff just mean mugged me as I drove past, but didn't pull me over... The next day, I couldn't make it to work, since the only two roads out of my neighborhood were blocked by really bad wrecks (a rollover and a 3 car pileup that had resulted in a fire).

    Anyway...

I actually went up and found some snow, I have 0 experience driving in the snow with my Taco. I have no idea how the KO2 tires compare to dedicated snow tires on snow and on ice. I suspect they'll do great on snow, and be useless on ice. I intend to find out on some logging roads this winter, though, as soon as winter starts.

I had to put it into 4wd on my commute this morning, due to a little snow on top of ice. I work at a ski hill. I passed 3 vehicles on the access road, and several in the ditch, who didn't have appropriate tires.

I don't recognize the truck from our regional forum, but might have to find an excuse to go up to the passes this weekend and get some of that sweet goodness
