What Do You Put In That Little Corner Behind The Back Seats?

Behind the back seats (at least in the double cab) there’s some space in the corner of the cab.

Do you put anything there? What treasures do you keep? Is there some sort of danger in storing something there that I never considered??

 

I use it for cleaning supplies and an umbrella for my girls.

 

Paper towels

 

I remember in another thread mentions of it being a good spot for a fire extinguisher or for a wine bottle on camping trips. I’ve got an access cab though.

 

You could put your weed in there!

 

i don't have that corner. and no rear seats. you could put a bong there

Fire extinguisher on one side, folding shovel in the other.

 

Must be a new thing because my '16 definitely doesn't have that.

 

I have a tool roll in each. One with a socket set, the other with open end wrenches. Perfect fit.

 

I have a fire extinguisher on one side, but the other side has a car seat so I can’t put anything that needs to be easily accessible behind it. Paper towels might work though, that’s brilliant.

 

For the recommended nightly applications.

 

So much stuff

First aid kit
Full change of clothes
Gloves and toque
Trangia stove and fuel
Aeropress
Helinox chair
Couple of dehydrated meals
MSR Dromedary with water

Edit: Oh... Just that one little spot...that's where I keep the MSR Dromedary and Aeropress

 

I keep a small B:C fire extinguisher in the little corner along with a first aid kit and jumper cables in the behind seat storage compartment next to it.

 

Toilet paper roll

 

Tripod in a padded case fits perfect.

 

Well, I don't have mine yet, but on my previous truck I could not get to behind the backseat. So.... This is OBVIOUSLY a spot for a rifle. O B V I O U S L Y .

Anyone tried a SBR style setup back there yet? 10 rounders fit? Length of your rifle and deets if you have. I need to know.

 

Pretty sure my 16 doesn’t have that space... the cubby goes all the way to the edge. Annnnnnnnd I have two storage doors in my bed

 

Just stick your draco back there with a 40 round clip next to it.
