Looking into lift options pretty seriously these days, figure I'll get the parts by summer and get a better deal.

Goals: 2" lift on 3rd gen 2021 TRD OR double cab short bed
    Givens:
-Deaver stage 1 U402 in rear
-Will run larger tires but shouldn't affect this decision
-About 250 lbs added for sliders/skids already which are about 75% on the front suspension
-will install 80 lb additional weight front bumper/winch put on order same time as this
-rear will eventually get a bed rack (40 lbs) and high clearance rear bumper (80 lbs) can run sand if I need more weight back there but the large spare will add some already (may keep stock spare there in winter for weight and remove in summer for clearance)

    Option 1: Dobinsons MRA
$2,268 after 10% off black friday deal
    https://exitoffroad.com/product/dob...-5-to-3-0-for-2005-20-4x4-access-double-cabs/
-730 lb spring, plan to go with longer option since want 2" on a 3rd gen (so when it says 2.4" lift that's only 1.4" so will need to adjust that las 0.6" which should be fine based on how I think these work)
-provide fully custom adjustments (hs, ls, rebound)
-bushings on top and bottom of shocks provides "better ride quality" supposedly vs baja racing shocks that don't have that for control I hear

    Option 2: ADS Stage 3
    $3,434
    https://www.headstrongoffroad.com/s...ystem_for_05__Toyota_Tacoma_(ADS05LVL3).html#
-700 lb spring (recommended by ADS)
-clickers don't allow for hs, ls, or rebound to be controlled individually. Pro for ease of use con for really dialing not sure if I have a preference

    Option 3: Fox 2.5 DSC
I have mostly ruled these out due to less features and seemingly worse in every way than dobinsons and costing more. I could be convinced if there is more info here. Nobody really ever mentions dobinsons in comparisons as if they don't exist but they seem to offer a competitive product.

I'm ultimately going to be doing a lot of road miles in my truck especially over winters. Summers most driving will be to off roading places. Use is in colorado where they love their mag chloride (which is salt) and sand and pebbles to fully mess everything nice up.

Biggest question is which option will last the best/hold up to the environments. Some say ADS but others also have issues with them still rusting/pitting, which would suck paying the $1,200 more and not be improved in this regard, which would be halfway to replacing the Dobinsons down the line. I have heard both Dobinsons and ADS ride really well, but have yet to really see a comparison, so hoping I get something here.

    Thanks!
