I hadn’t posted in a while but since we’re talking bourbon. A really good one that I can find easily is Widow Jane. It’s about $70 a bottle. I like it better than Buffalo Trace. Another good one that I can’t find but you should try if you do is the IW Harper 15 Year. Has to be 15, the regular IW Harper is swill. Boss brought me a bottle from Florida, pictured below. The next one I’m hoping to try is some EH Taylor.

Closed on my farm on Friday. The last 2 days sanded 3000 sq ft of popcorn ceilings. Now time to paint the ceilings, walls, and I will start on the floor next week once I’m done.

Is it me or have you pretty much been working on a home project like FOREVER

Naw finished the last house in 18 and enjoyed it. Was blessed with a sweet baby girl about a month ago and needed more room. This farm was turn key, move in ready, but my wife watches to much hgtv and is hell bent on making it her own.

another one bites the dust! Ceilings done and painted, time to tackle some walls and lights and odd and ends till my floors get delivered wed then I will tackle them. Fun times!

I've lived right down the road from this distillery for years. I finally went by today. I only thought they did shine but they have whiskey now. It's really good! Next weekend is their annual bourbon release. I plan on going then too. Their barrel strength is very easy drinking. Deceptively so.

 

I had a bottle of their store pick barrel proof last year, was pretty good as you mentioned. Didn’t drink nearly as hot as the proof. Also good to support local guys.

 

Finally got the FJ 90% done. Have a few small things and stuff to pull off the Tacoma to finish it up.
