Well since I cannot comment on the headlight sticky might as well make a thread.

Headlight aiming is always a pain. Ideally you have 25’ or more of perfectly flat surface where you mark a wall where the headlights cut off then back up 25’ and ensure the cutoff has moved down a few inches. Who in the world has 25’ of perfectly flat and level surface.

    Try this instead
Grab one of these self leveling laser levels, super handy for a variety of things around the house anyways!

Now, find a surface to park on.

First up, level the truck using your laser level. Shoot the laser beam through some point on the tire/wheel.m, not the body, the tire/wheel. If it isn’t level drive up on something to make it level.
Here you can see mine in the garage. The laser line is a bit weak in the picture but it’s there.

Now that the truck is level throw your laser level on the hood, you are going to project a line forward you can measure from

Once you have your level on the hood measure down from the line to your headlight cutoff directly in front of the truck, the closer the better and ensuring to measure the cutoff to the left of beam center. Do both headlights (it should be the same). Here you can see my cutoff is 9” below the laser line.

Now walk out 25’ away from your truck and measure again. You also want to ensure you measure left of beam center, and you want to do one headlight at a time so put something in front of the other beam. Measure down from the laser line to the top of the beam cutoff. Here you can see the beam is not well defined so this is a bit more difficult to see. I’m using a cheap yard stick here but a wide piece of paper or say a 2x6 would be even better (wider is better). You want to ensure the beam drops about 2” over that 25’, or at least, moves down some amount. Unfortunately the camera didn’t pick up the cutoff as well as it could but you should be able to see the headlight around the 19” mark.

if you have a hard time seeing the cutoff then park 25’ from a flat surface (garage door). Still level the truck but now you can use the flat surface to measure the distance between the laser line and the cutoff.

    good luck
