Looks great! I really need to get one of these to replace the cheap generic one I purchased from a seller on Facebook marketplace (it's already warping). What was the Black Friday discount, and where did you purchase it from? I assumed directly from Mountain Hatch, but I checked their site and didn't see anything about an early BF sale :(

Edit: I found it. Use coupon code HATCHVEMBER to save $50. Nice deal! That works out to 20% off. They are just a few miles up the road from me, too. I was going to check if I can pick it up and save the shipping costs, but then I noticed it ships for free, too. :dancingbacon:

Went looking for more balls for the Dashtop Multi Mount and couldn't find any with the right sized screw. Seems it's a bit proprietary. Then I went back to their website and found to my surprise that the cost of additional balls was pretty darn good, $10.50 with free shipping. None of the Ram Mount ball were that cheap. kudos to Taco Garage.

Surprisingly there was more damage to my truck than to his bike. His shifter cable broke and he had scuffs on his handlebar grip and front peg. He was ok, just some hip pain. He rode it off the side of the freeway no problems. But with the shifter broke it had to get towed. So happy he was ok, I was kinda freaking out because I ride too but I refuse to ride during rush hour on CA freeways.

Finally got some new wheels. Going from the stock 245/75 street tires to the 265/75 AT tires did no favors for my fuel economy but worth it. Truck sits a little bit higher and looks nicer.

I've always assumed that motorcyclists can do no wrong; they are always the hapless victim in all accidents, because the rest of us are looking to mow them down at all times. :)

Looks much nicer than stock. The black wheels look nice on the black Taco. Now a 2 inch front lift would make it look great!

Thanks for posting. I ordered the whole assembly last time for my 2020 Tacoma. May try just the inserts eventually, since that’s what I already do for my two RAV4’s. 410F2D00-95B3-4594-80D9-4430BCD9C226.jpg 802E6135-DAB5-4F9B-AAF4-C0445E7115F1.jpg

I used to have a friend, she's dead now, who lost her son in a motorcycle accident. According to her, he was so drunk his friends at the bar had to help him get on his bike. a hundred yards from the bar he slammed into a parked car and ended his life. Your assumption is wrong. :bananadead:

Hand-washed it for the first time. I bought it new in 2019. Let him who is without sin cast the first stone. 55,000 total miles, just returned from an 8,300 mile road trip - no time for anything other than laser-washes.
