Been following a pink dial conversation on another forum and thought I'd post up a pic here of mine and my coworker's pink watches. On Wednesdays we wear pink. Started off as a joke and then of course stuck. Keep in mind we all work in the funeral industry......Pink Watch Lineup.jpg

Picked up a decent SRP777 Turtle on auction, to replace an SKX mod that didn't survive a river swim. The silicon Seiko strap is way more comfy than the hard rubber strap that comes with an SKX.

    SRP777.jpg

The good: keeps perfect time, no visible damage to the case or crystal.
The bad: SS buckle and keeper for the original strap were missing, waffle strap that came on the watch was worthless. Day wheel must have been set outside of the safe range, so it has to be advanced with the time set, not via the date set.

Overall, a good purchase and it's my daily tool watch now... can save the STO blue/black SRPD11 for dressy duty now.

Upgraded to the new scanwatch. The old steel HR is/was pretty awesome but mine's the older model without the sapphire face and the scanwatch does ekg and pulseox as well.
Still 30 days of life per charge and notifications and whatnot. Got a not-rubber-strap on order.

Used to wear a watch everyday before covid at work. Now I work from home and haven't worn one in a year and a half *shrug*

    Oh look, another mod....
These are the five that I wear (I rotate them, obviously). 3 are Bullova, 1 is Seiko & 1 is Guess. I'm thinking about selling the first one (Blue rectangular Bullova) if anyone is interested.

Samsung Galaxy (Smart)Watch - I like the fact that it can be set to look like a watch (not a small tablet) and still has the smartwatch capabilities.

For me it can be a little like an EDC knife. If I don't wear/carry it for a while it becomes "meh" but as soon as I do I wonder how I got along without it. Maybe something a little dressier or oddball would turn it into eye candy and something you look forward to wearing even though you're not going into work. Or roll without one. Either way have fun and take care.

Anyone interested in taking this Seiko divers watch off my hands for a reasonable offer? Worn twice. Original bands and box included. Was a gift but the gold is not my style. Face has 2 minor knicks, one in the face center and and one just next to it, not real noticeable in my opinion. Excellent condition.

It's funny, it was the opposite for me. All my adult life I was an auto technician & I couldn't wear a watch. Once I got out of wrenching, that's when I got bit by the watch bug.
On a side note, I got really good at estimating time - within a minute or 2 when I didn't wear a watch.

C-3PO! I love it. Those golden turtles look so good with a matching gold Strapcode bracelet. I would have taken this off your hands if I hadn't just bought a plain SRP777 Turtle. I'll keep it in mind for 2022 if you don't get rid of it soon.

Well I've only worn my g shock Bluetooth watch for the last 6 months (except to dinner out on occasion). I've decided my next purchase will be a smart watch to replace this g shock as the Bluetooth protocol is old and finicky. It has very basic og features like alert to a call or notifications and music controls.

Im looking at both the G shocks and the Tissot Bluetooth models.... Is there something one of you has that I should look into as well? Anyone have the new Tissot smart touch watch? I've always appreciated my Tissot t touch and my g shocks so that's why I gravitated there... Looking for an actual watch that also offers smart features. The Tissot offers some ornithological merits I believe but having dealt with Casio before and the app support early on I don't want to end up with something that is at end of life because if protocol with Bluetooth or app updates.... The local dealer swears Tissot is committed to updating and supporting long term. Anyone with insight?
