Anyone had Integra Tire in North Vancouver do an alignment on their vehicle with a lift?

VERY uninterestingly long story short; got the TRD Performance Lift at the Dealership. First alignment drift at higher speeds and the steering wheel sat a few degree clockwise of centre.

Returned to dealer for a re-alignment.. on pick-up told that the alignment simply couldn’t get better than it was, and the steering wheel wouldn’t be factory straight due to the lift. o_O

So I happened to help a friend with a ride today and we dropped his taco at Autotech Alignment of which confidently stated they’d easily get it right, and add some toe etc.

My trouble is that Autotech books 2-4 weeks out, and Integra was recommended by a friend. But reviews don’t touch on alignments for 4x4’s.

Which is where I return to the question of whether anyone has used Integra in North Van (very close to my home) for 4x4 alignments.

    Thanks

When I lived on the coast I had a couple shop like that align my truck that didn't specilze in lifted and didn't get it right because they go to factory spec .when your lifted you need more caster.
So I went to go to dales alignment in langley, they have me at 4 degrees of caster drives great, or I would go to autech like your buddy said.

Yah… this is what I’m thinking too. Was just trying to save a couple hours of driving etc. which is why I go to the dealer who didn’t finish this up properly.

Well I can safely say that Toyota tried to take my Taco back the stock preferred alignment… ie, with no lift added.

Of course, they added my lift, and obviously don’t deal with lift too much.

Thankfully Autotech alignment in Langley is timely, professional, cordial and ultimately did a super job and didn’t slag Toyota neither.

So for future reference(and maybe ammo to get money back on the Toyota alignment) the TRD lift instructions literally give you the modified alignment specs to use for the lifted application. I’ve had 0 issue getting a trd lifted truck to drive straight with those specs. And I’ve done 5-6 of them at this point

This is some of the best info that I have ever had. Thanks for your post. They will be soooo happy to hear from me again.

I’m telling you though; they are assured me that “we can’t get it any closer or better than it is now”.

Yea. Alot of people can’t read. Sad truth. Alignment specs are provided that address caster to make sure it drives as well as it can. If I actually remember, I’ll get the PDF of the install for you tomorrow off TIS.

Dales in Langley is where I go for alignments. They install ECGS bushings too.
