    OMG.....talk about inflation....

    I've been watching the
    $749 Kenwood DNR476S KENWOOD DNR-476S 6.8" Car Stereo, Garmin Navigation Built in, Inrix Traffic Service, CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, (Does Not Play DVD's)
    Kenwood DNR476S head unit for a couple months on Crutchfield.

    When I decided this was the HU for me, I began my budget. Unfortunately, I had to delay purchase due to other needs.

    Summer 2021 it was just short of $400
    Month ago it was $500 :eek:
    Last night..........it was $800. :eek::eek: :crazy: Plus "Out of Stock" :facepalm:

    100% increase in <6 months. :annoyed::annoyed::annoyed:

    So, after the OEM unit dies, I'll hire a band to ride in the bed...... :anonymous:

    It's nuts. I've been watching some JL sub boxes on Crutchfield (microsubs/tacoma stealth enclosure) and the prices have jumped as much as $200 in a matter of months. Before this global slowdown Crutchfield had a closeout sale on the Focal PS165f and PC165f for about $600 and a regular sale on the kicker key 200.4 for $212. I'm still kicking myself for not jumping on that deal.

    Maybe some deals will pop up on Black Friday and Cyber Monday...

    Yeah.....watch them "deals"

    Some prices have risen in the double digit percents......

    Raise the price to $800 up from $400, then offer a door busting sale of 25% off........sale price is $600. Big deal.......pass.

    Just gotta wait. The consumers will grow weary of the inflated prices. This economy won't support a 6.2% inflation for long.
