    I currently have a 21 trd off road 4x4
My constant carry in the bed is as follows

    Rago endeavor bed rack
    Ovs 270 lt awning
    5 gallon water tank
    1 gallon propane tank
    Small grill
    Bed mat
    22 gallon auxiliary tank (fuel)

Should I look for a more heavy duty leaf pack? My truck sits pretty level front and rear and rides great. I'm just paranoid. Should I be? I do have bilstein 5100 rears.

Any constructive input is greatly appreciated

It will sag. Enjoy it until it starts to bother you. Consider upgrading the rear bump stops. I got Timbren.

    Two questions:

    1. What's wrong with the current setup?
    2. If nothing is wrong and you are doing it for better performance or looks, what is your goal?

Impossible to give good feedback without knowing that info. I'd say if it ain't broke don't fix it for now, keep reading TacomaWorld and figure out what you really want/need so you only have to do it once. Buy once, cry once.

I simply don't want my current set up to end up being too much weight or something. I did order new bump stops however.

I've been looking at a few different HD leaf packs as well (I have about 450lbs of constant weight on the bed). The Old Man Emu ones seem to be the most common, although I've heard a lot of people complain about them squeaking over time. The Deaver u402 leaf packs are a more premium option, although they're quite expensive. Another option I've looked at is the All-Pro packs, which have a higher number of leaves like the Deavers but are closer in price to the OME option. But there isn't nearly as much discussion about those springs. Has anyone used the All-Pros who could speak for their quality?

So around 41 pounds water, 134 lbs in gas, around 4.25 lbs for propane. What about the rack..metal or aluminum? Everything else you list is light weight...guessing on awning. If we know nothing else about your setup, I'd say icon rxt on setting 1 and call it a day.

I'm pushing much more weight than that on my trips. I sit level with around 600lbs on option 1. Much to read about these icons in this section of TW.

As long as you are within Toyota’s specs I don’t think you have much to worry about, but you’ll need to weigh your payload (or estimate it) to know. In general I think people are upgrading their leaf springs when they don’t need too.

Dobinsons 110-R, 111-R or 112-R. Mid range price. Stay away from OME Crapkars (Dakars).
Timbrens or Superbumps for bump stops.

I just swapped my old Icon AAL to Deaver U402 stage 3 (700-100lb). It gave me 2.5”-3” lift. Very stink bug. But I am not completely loaded down yet. Only my CBI bumper and spare. Just a heads up for those wanting to go this route. I might try stage 2 (400-600lbs) if it doesn’t give me as much lift.

I'll politely disagree. I had ATS build me a custom set based on my needs (+600lbs and 3" lift) and they've been excellent. I've since added a high clearance rear with swingout and had an extra leaf made to help with the extra weight, and they made one with a little more bend to take into account the 150 or so extra lbs now on the passenger side with the swingout and tire.

On top of that the owner called to double check everything, and he made sure to make my AAL himself.

Seconding ATS, my bed is typically empty so I went with their HD springs. Got my 2-2.5" with bushings already installed for 300 and change shipped. Emailed with the owners son I believe and he was very accommodating, helped me settle on the HD springs for my use case and got me a quote without making a fuss about being on the fence

I haven't had a single squeak or noise either. My dakars were absolute crap
