    :puke: keep it.

It snowed like two days after I left the upper peninsula a few weeks ago.

How is it that both NY and MA have terrible roads called 290? Whenever we go out there it's an easy ride up until the last 10 minutes on that road.

Did you guys see the Ford ad for special ordering a new vehicle? Discounts and taking priority. Man I wish the new Bronco could tow something, then I could consider it!

Got a link? I google’d it but not coming up with anything (which is likely for the best, if I ordered a new truck, I might find myself single again)

Thought it had the same powerplants as the ranger and didn't they stuff the 3.5 EB into it too?? I mean it couldn't tow like a pooper dooty but still should be able to tow similar to a ranger or other mid size goings ons.

I would pass them if I inspected your truck, as I don't recall reading anything in the inspection manual about extra lights, if they work, are covered, etc.

Wait are you an inspector hot damn I just knew you were in RI.

Yeah I didn't see anything in the inspection standard about auxiliary lights at all. I'll play it safe - have covers but don't know if I should have another set for the fogs.

    Thanks - cool beans.

Oh another one - front plate. Zip tie to grille. Aye? Standard says stuff about rope but curious if zip ties are enough.

Yup, I got my inspection license back in February of this year, and easily have done a couple hundred state inspections so far (it definitely feels like I have done more though!).

I wouldn't worry about the fog lights since most cars come equipped with them, but don't need to be functional in order to pass (they could fail if the lense was broken, and could possibly hurt someone...). If you have covers for the ditch lights, (it sounds like you do), covering them wouldn't hurt.

The front plate should be secured to the front of the vehicle with screws or nuts and bolts, but we have attached plates that people don't want on the front of their vehicles with zip ties, and the state doesn't seem to care.

up here in NH I’ve been told a few times I need to have the fogs behind my grill covered because they aren’t factory.

I saw it on a ad on TV but quickly looking at Ford's site and you can see it on this page on the second banner down. It doesn't talk about making it a priority though.

The 2.7 is the top engine. In the Bronco it's rated at 335 HP, 415 Torque. 3500 lbs towing capacity regardless of powertrain. I suspect it's more of a suspension/chassis limitation than anything else since that engine is rated in the 7500-9000 range on an F-150 depending on axle ratio and such.
I custom ordered my 2018. You do get all the same discounts, and it actually works out better because you can pick either order or delivery time for incentives. I was able to spec that truck with exactly what I wanted and nothing I didn't.

I tried to do the same thing with this truck but was too late to order a 2020. I could have knocked the price down a bit because this dealer stock truck had a weird combination of options that would have been cheaper in a package. And I would have skipped things like navigation and the tailgate step.

I was curious about the priority part. Bunch of people on the Ford forum have been waiting months for their ordered trucks.
