    Hello just purchased this new to me 2017 Tacoma Trd pro . Still getting used to it . One thing I’d like to know is how to reset the wifi password on the camera?

    I’ve read a manual online and it says the default password is the serial number . Which one you thing it is?

    Just a update the default wifi password is the KQ number found on the top of the camera, all letters are in CAPS.It enables to view footage via the Toyota app. Pretty nice… I thought the truck had a remote start too but I lucked out there. I added a cover for the bed as snow gonna start hitting the pavement here

    Do you have the option to change the password? If not it might be a good idea to delete that picture so your info isn’t as easily accessible by some random person.

    I’m confused on the footage via the Toyota App, is this a dashcam set up or something else?

    I’m not worried about someone creeping me as it’s a wifi signal from cam to your phone. It’s a dash cam with a nice app for you to view the footage instead of loading as card to a computer and looking at it they there

    Yes, there’s a separate app for the Toyota dashcam, different from the remote start, lock/unlock app. Dunno why they couldn’t roll them both into one?
