You forgot 800k for a complete gut job house, 3k a month rent for a single family home, insane homelessness, insane amounts of people everywhere lol. Been to Colorado once, proposed to my now wife at the Colorado river. Absolutely loved everywhere we went in Colorado.

This pretty much sums it up. Been here since I was like 5, over 30 years. I bought a house in my early 20s and flipped for 150% profit. New home has gone up $250k value in 2 years. Not bad being a native. Lol

Y’all will love it. Campgrounds we’re awesome after July 4th. All the visitors were gone & fishing was great!

This road eventually will take you to Hagerman Pass. Good fishing back there & lots of sweet campgrounds

Where is this cool air you're talking about? It gets way too hot here, there's way too many people and you have to drive over an hour to get to any kind of decent outdoors.

Lol you gota understand where im from (houston). We have had some hot days here, but they arent consistent. Its also dry heat which is not nearly as bad. Take a cruise down south. You sweat around the clock from late may to late september.
Again Springs alone has more to see nature wise then all of houston area. Maybe ill bitch about the crowds in a few years, but this is way less crowded than the houston area lol.

Move to Houston or Baton Rouge for a bit. Then tell us about hot. I spent yesterday being pretty soaked with sweat watching the movers.

I left Houston in 2011 for NM and I was in the Houston area around Memorial Weekend in 2019 helping a friend clean up for his daughter’s graduation party. We did the work from 6:30-noon and it took 15 minutes to be completely soaked from sweat and on Sunday, just sitting having a bourbon and I was still sweating.
I hate Houston winters where the temp dips into the 30’s and with that humidity, give me a foot of snow.

I've lived in south Texas, Alabama, Florida and Georgia. Just cause they're hotter and suck worse doesn't mean the heat here still doesn't suck.

I’m often at two22 brew after work some days. Come by I’ll get u a beer - typically Mondays & Wednesdays I stop in for a pint. The Irish Ale is great!
