K&N performance cold air intake, infotainment system
About 2 years ago I was devastated when I was in an accident with my 2010 Silver TRD Double Cab Automatic. I have been without a vehicle ever since. After shopping in the insane market for months and considering an old Chevy or GMC SUV, even considered the Honda Pilot (because I’m apparently a soccer mom), I’m proud to say I’m back in a Tacoma. I snagged an almost identical 2010 silver 4x4 SR5 access cab in manual. My first manual but I’m getting the hang of it quick.

I know it’s not the badass TRD like I used to have, but eventually I want to put a 3” lift, 17” wheels and some better AT tires on there.

I’ve ordered an infotainment system so I can have Apple CarPlay, and also a K&N performance cold air intake.

Bought it for $14k with 118k miles if y’all are curious. I live in New Orleans btw and our streets are terrible here so having a more capable off-road vehicle is a must.

I want to use this truck for occasional driving (as I work from home) and to go out to the woods on the weekends to hunt, camp, and haul my Jon boat to the bayou.

What do y’all think of my purchase and what are some must-do replacements/upgrades with my truck, mileage, and desired use.

Nice to meet y’all. Happy to be part of the Tacoma community again.
