    Hey everyone!

Just picked up a 2002 Tacoma with the 5 speed and TRD supercharger. Still pending purchase but I should have it within the week. Needs some things before getting registered. Valve cover gaskets, rear brake seal leak situation.... Etc. I got a good deal on it though so I'm definitely excited to have it. Please let me know if there's anything I should know coming from the FJ platform! My brother has a 2002 4runner with a 4spd auto and a supercharger so I kind of have some familiarization with it but definitely a newbie. Any kind of universal issues I should know of like what everyone has to do? Thanks so much and happy to be here!!

Yeah haha I have a shop time on the 22nd. I'm going to pick it up this week and its going straight to the shop. It'll need a lot but I'm definitely stoked to have it. Ball joints are done. The UCA's have uniballs that are getting replaced. Front bumper is getting replaced. Minimal rust. Just a bit on the rear door corner. Everything's going to be gone through.

But overall are they pretty solid?

Not sure what you're looking at for mileage on it, but i personally have a friend with a 2000 with well over 300k on it, and my 2003 is edging up on 290k right now. They need maintenance just like anything, but if you give them love, they're loyal for a long time.

Mine is just about to cross 260k! Brothers T4R has 257k so we’re kind of in the same boat mine just has a manual and less interior space
