    Oh man…
Definitely a pucker factor drilling in to the top of these cases, but stoked how it turned out. 2 trax mounted on each lid, sealed with silicone, cut down my waterport brackets to fit in between. The boards took up so much room on the side of the bed. Can’t take credit for the idea, I’ve seen a couple people mount the trax this way and I thought it was a great space saver. Gas struts still work great. The lids are double walled so a little careful blade work just to fit the socket in there and it worked out great.

For draining the filter housing... Can't say how well it works since I've never used it.

This is my first vehicle with the cartridge style filter. Hoping this with the hose makes it a little cleaner than the plastic thing that comes with the filter. My main concern is the metal marring the plastic filter housing.

It’s a Quad Lock or a variation thereof. Very well known to many of us also in the moto community.

Just pull on the bumper cover a little bit and use that little ratcheting screwdriver and you are GTG. Probably a lot easier than pulling off the bumper cover and messing up additional clips

Old truck but these are the husky they are more rubber and pliable than plastic. I didn’t see the need to upgrade since mine came with the rubber Tacoma ones and they do the job.

That’s clean! Only downside is those are very expensive cars more so than pelican and drilling voids their warranty.

Gotcha, the inside of the housing is brass, so no worries there.

If it opens by turning the knarled wheel I'd be concerned about vibration opening it. :bananadead:

Fabric to fabric is easy, it’s just when you’re weaving to steel panels with zero give.

I don’t personally use Quad Lock, but this is the system:

Thanks! yeah they are Winjet tail lights, i love them. and i wash with Chemical Guys Citrus Wash & Gloss and I use the Chemical Guys Butter Wet Wax. I honestly haven't waxed it in months either. the combo seems to work really well. i haven't really experimented with any kind of sealants or coatings before.

Installed the Prinsu Cab Rack. Went pretty well. Ended up cutting out sections. Even with the metal strip removed, the holes were jacked up (just not as easy as it looks). Really happy with it regardless.

I don't *think* it's meant to stay on the truck... I don't intend to leave it on the truck. The more I see these replied the more I'm realizing I have no clue what I bought... I thought it was just meant to be a "forever" version of the little plastic nipple that comes with the filters o_O

Very nice and agree about the factory grille on the TRD 2020+ I also love my DD SS3 yellow Sports (photo below). I’m using them more than I thought I would.

Past 2 days it has been a dark, dreary, PNW monsoon. I’m hoping I stand out and I’m more visible as the yellow fogs are really intended for driving in poor, snowy/foggy conditions. 04EAB6F6-44F9-403B-8BC6-8EE1EFD4EBC2.jpg
