    I don’t believe the spare tire comes with a TPMS. At least in 2018 models.

    Interesting...my wife's 2006 GX470 has one in the spare (so did an older Subaru). But maybe Toyota is behind the times!

    Tacoma's only support 4 TPMS, not 5.

    I do believe you're correct, thanks sir. Apparently, some 2nd gens got a sensor in the spare.

    Just read on here that Toyota did put sensors in the spare...but stopped around 2010 for some reason.

    '06 4.0L Tacoma TRD Sport
    Stock, 4WD, Access Cab, White,
    I think my '06 has a sensor in the spare.

    TPMS light came on. Checked road tires, all at 30 psi. Checked spare, 25 psi. Brought all tires up to 32 psi. TPMS light went out.

    Now, it is a habit to check pressures in all the tires. I flipped the spare over and shifted the valve stem to be near the bumper.
