Just a quick “hello” from another New Englander (Beverly, MA); new to the forum and semi-new to owning a Taco (5 months).

Happy to have found so many people from the area and … I’ve got a lot of posts to read.

Haha, I ordered covers for my LP4s but I don't think they're coming in time. I really don't want to have to take them off.

 

Doesn't say what kind of covers they need to be. Slap some electrical tape or duct tape over them and call it good.

 

As an 80's Porsche Transaxle owner.

 

Ha! I drove a 944 in the spring and absolutely loved it. Definitely high on my "someday" list. Also, is this an offer to let me drive yours?

 

She's a 3L hardtop, which if you know know the rarity, means nobody touches her anymore.

She's also a previous track car like a lot of ABS turbos and S2's. Which currently means chasing electrical issues from 30yo wiring till I can install a lift and do a full rewire someday...along with a 16v turbo build on my spare sleeved block I've let sit for the last 2 years out of apathy.

 

Sounds like a fun project. Definitely hang onto that thing.

 

Yeah I dont spend much on lights....

Anyway if these would fit, I have a pair +1 of these if you want to borrow. (Had a pair. Car wash yeeted one, bought a replacement pair, now I have 3...)

....I'll be looking for different routes to and from work I guess, which will be screwey because I have to cross over 195 to get to work whichever way I go. Guess who will be looking for WFH gigs ASAP if this is going to be the norm ....

 

Did they start work on the Washington bridge yet? I sat in that traffic for an hour and thought it was due to a big accident or something… if not my commute is f’d
