Installed Falken wildpeaks on my 2020 3rd gen taco. Discount tire aired them up at ~36-39 psi. Size is 265/75/16. Door jam lists 30 psi for 265/70/16. 30 psi looks too low. What are the other wildpeak users airing up to for 265/75s on their tacos?

    Thanks

You should be fine around 30+ psi unless you are really heavy/towing.
265/75R16 SL which I run about 35 psi in summer, but will probably let drop closer to 30ish for winter traction.

Note the E load tires actually need higher pressure to get same load capacity. Still probably not an issue unless you’re loaded down.

FL I always run 35psi on 265/70R16 Wildpeaks also SL (not E).
Tread wear is even after 25k miles and ran 35 on all my Michelins over 100k miles also.

If they are the same loadrange, even a bit lower then 30 psi is safe, because of the slightly larger sise /75 instead of /70 . But if you go for instance from P-tire SL to E-load, as Gutenticht writes you need higher pressure for the same load, can be up to 10 psi.

As " pigheaded Dutch selfdeclared tyrepressure-specialist " I am able to calculate it for you, if you give weight on axles in use, and more tire-specifications.
    Need from tires next
    1 maximum load or loadindex.
2 kind of tire to determine the referencez-pressure, offen given behind AT on sidewall.
    3, not superimportant but speedcode.
