How to get fob for used Tacoma I bought?

    i just recently got a great score on a 2019 4dr tacoma, it was in a front end accident the air bags deployed but only the drivers side front corner was really damaged,but fixable enough that the insurance dropped it.anyways i acquired it but this is the problem i dont have the fob for it i cant get any power so i can put an obd ii on it, how do i get power do i have to reset the ecu? do i have to reset the airbags ? can i get another key fob made please help...thxs

    I’m assuming it’s has the push the start. If you want a fob with the valet key it’s 250 from Toyota at least from my local dealer in Cali. They can program it at the dealer obviously the title has to be under your name for 440 plus taxes for everything. You can just get the the fob/key and have a locksmith see if they can program it to the ecu wherever the truck is at since it’s not drivable.

    Yes a local locksmith should be able to program you new keys. Just have to prove ownership like having the registration in your name. Where I live they will come out to your house and in under an hour you have new keys. Depending on the coding it could be anywhere from $100-$300+.

    thanks for that info do u no about having to reset the airbags or ecu
